From the website (Current Working Groups)

“The Global Alliance for Genomics and Health (Global Alliance) has formed four Working Groups to meet the challenge of creating a common framework of standards. These harmonized approaches will enable the responsible, voluntary, and secure sharing of genomic and clinical data.

Each Working Group is tasked with developing the key products in a specific issue area that are necessary to catalyze the sharing of genomic and clinical data in an effective, responsible, and interpretable manner. As such outputs are developed, they will be shared among Global Alliance partners for comment, refinement, and improvement.”

InterSystems, a global leader in software for connected care, has joined the Global Alliance for Genomics and Health (GA4GH), an alliance of 148 of the world's leading biomedicalimage research institutions, healthcare providers, information technology and life science companies, funders of research, and disease and patient advocacy organizations.

The non-profit partnership brings organizations from Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe, and the Americas.
