Health information is certainly becoming one competitive field, who has the best and most accurate information?  The possibilities just keep on growing and I’m sure there will be more on the way until we get one dashboard eventually that may bring the mining down to perhaps one application for the consumer, and on the business side, well that is another story on who collaborates with who for the best information representative of their services or product lines.  Can we keep this simple?  As more becomes available, the more confusing it becomes to locate the source desired.  Perhaps we will see merging companies in the future in this direction as well.  Just posted this week about Healthline, another successful company providing information on healthcare that is credible, easy to understand, etc. BD 

imageMore than 18 months after Pfizer Inc. announced it was pulling out of Ann Arbor, the city got a welcome surprise Monday when  pharmaceutical and health care giant Johnson & Johnson said it had acquired HealthMedia Inc.  The  University of Michigan spin-off company provides online health-coaching sessions for stress management, weight loss, diabetes management and other health-related activities. Its software helps employers and others reduce their health care costs. Customers include Kaiser Permanente, UPS, the Cleveland Clinic and Johnson & Johnson, among others.
